The intelligence layer

Your customer intelligence layer.

Your calls tell you what customers said. Your CRM tells you who said it and what happened.

Kontex connects and organizes both, so your AI can understand your customers by role, company, customer profile, deal size, and outcome, instead of just counting what gets mentioned most.

No new dashboard. Keep using ChatGPT and Claude. Kontex just gives them context on your customers.

Raw customer data in. Customer context out.

Why context matters

The thing you hear most isn’t always the thing that matters most.

Imagine 80% of your sales calls are with SMBs. Across those calls, one problem comes up again and again: “We’re spending too much time doing this manually.” Analyze every conversation together and that’s your #1 customer pain. So you build your next campaign around saving time.

But your CRM tells you those SMBs drive only 20% of your revenue. Enterprise customers, with just 20% of your conversations, drive 80%. And their biggest pain is completely different: “We can’t get this to work across all our teams.”

Same product. Different customer. Different reason to buy.

Your customers aren’t all the same.

Most B2B companies sell to more than one type of customer. An SMB founder may buy your product for one reason. A CFO may care about cost. And your highest-value customers may care about something your smaller customers rarely mention.

Put every conversation in the same group and those differences disappear. Kontex lets you slice your customer intelligence by Customer Profile using the data already in your CRM:

No interviews

Your sales team has already interviewed your market.

Customer research usually means weeks of recruiting, scheduling, and interviewing.

But your sales team already has hundreds or thousands of conversations with the people you’re trying to understand. Those conversations are sitting in your call recorder. Not what everyone on the internet thinks, but the people your company actually spoke with.

Kontex lets marketing start with what you already have.

Connect your calls and CRM and start learning today.

Why I built Kontex

Gonzalo Zariaga

I’ve spent more than a decade working in analytics and growth, from companies like HP and GM to SaaS businesses like Buildbox and Circle.

One thing I learned along the way: not all customers are the same.

The best marketing comes from understanding both the data and the people behind it. When you combine what each customer profile does with what they say, you can build campaigns around what actually resonates with them.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Kontex?

Kontex is Customer Intelligence for AI. It turns your sales calls and CRM into structured customer intelligence that ChatGPT and Claude can use. Marketing teams use Kontex to understand the pains, triggers, objections, alternatives, and language behind the customers they want more of, then turn that intelligence into content and campaigns.

What does Kontex actually do with my data?

Kontex doesn’t just pass your calls and CRM to AI. It finds customer signals inside your conversations, groups similar signals into shared themes, connects them to CRM data, and keeps each one linked to its original source. That gives ChatGPT and Claude structured customer context to analyze instead of a pile of raw transcripts.

Is my data secure?

Your calls and CRM sync through Nango, an integration platform used across B2B SaaS. Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, so each workspace can only access its own data. Insights are shared with ChatGPT or Claude only when you ask a question.

Is Kontex SOC 2 certified?

Not yet. Kontex is an early-stage product and we don’t hold formal certifications like SOC 2 today. If that’s a blocker for your team, we’d still love to hear from you.

How much does Kontex cost?

Kontex is free while in beta. We’ll introduce pricing later, and beta users will hear from us before anything changes.

What is Customer Intelligence?

Customer Intelligence means understanding what customers say together with the business context behind it. It’s not enough to know that a pain was mentioned 100 times. You need to know who mentioned it. SMB or Enterprise? Founders or CFOs? Did they buy? How large were the deals? Kontex connects those answers to the customer conversations behind them.

What is a Customer Profile?

A Customer Profile is a group of customers you want to understand based on the attributes that matter to your business. For example: Enterprise + Operations Leader + Closed Won, or Mid-market + CFO + Deals over $50K. Kontex uses the data already in your CRM to let you analyze and compare different Customer Profiles.

Why not just analyze everyone together?

Because your customers aren’t all the same. The pain mentioned most across all your conversations may come primarily from a customer segment that isn’t the focus of your campaign. Kontex lets you analyze the specific Customer Profile you’re trying to reach instead of treating every conversation equally.

Who is Kontex for?

Kontex is built for B2B SaaS marketing teams that already have recorded sales conversations and customer data in their CRM. If you’re a founder running marketing yourself, it works for you too.

Why does Kontex need my CRM?

Because knowing what someone said is only half the story. Your CRM tells Kontex who said it and what happened. That can include their role, company, industry, company size, deal value, deal stage, and whether the deal was won or lost. This lets your AI understand different Customer Profiles instead of treating every conversation the same.

Why not just upload my call transcripts to ChatGPT?

Because transcripts only tell ChatGPT what people said. Kontex organizes those conversations and connects what was said to the customer and deal behind it. So instead of asking “What are our biggest customer pains?” you can ask “What are the biggest pains among Enterprise Operations Leaders in deals we won?” Same conversations. More context. Better questions.

Do I need to interview my customers?

No. Your sales team has already had conversations with the customers and prospects you want to understand. Kontex helps marketing learn from those conversations without asking customers to repeat themselves in another research interview.

Is Kontex a call recorder?

No. Keep using the call recorder you already have. Kontex works with your existing recorded conversations.

Does Kontex create ads and content?

ChatGPT and Claude already do that. Kontex gives them the customer intelligence they need to understand what that content should be about. You can use that context to create ads, content, landing pages, positioning, sales messaging, campaigns, and more.

Can I see where an insight came from?

Yes. Every Kontex customer insight is traceable to its source. You can see the customer, deal, call, and exact quote behind it.

Is Kontex another analytics dashboard?

No. Kontex is the intelligence layer between your customer data and the AI tools your team already uses. You keep working in ChatGPT or Claude.
